Shelley joined High & Associates in 2002, bringing a deep passion for helping businesses design meaningful, affordable benefits programs. After graduating from Texas A&M University, she began her career in banking and finance but quickly found her true calling in the insurance industry. By 2000, she was fully dedicated to the health insurance market, advocating for employers and employees to build lasting, impactful benefit solutions.

Believing education is the cornerstone of a successful benefits program, Shelley works hands-on with employees to ensure they understand and maximize their coverage. She frequently leads group meetings during plan changes or at client request, transforming benefits from a line item into a true asset for organizations and their teams.

Shelley has also been a leader in her field for over two decades. She is a longtime member of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals, where she served on both local and state Boards of Directors, including two years as local President. She has also held leadership positions with the Waco Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, serving as Board President and Scholarship Chair.

Her dedication extends beyond her profession into her community. Shelley has volunteered with the Greater Waco A&M Club, Friends for Life, the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk, the American Cancer Society, Crawford Booster Club, PTO, and local youth sports as both coach and supporter.

She and her husband Brian, also a proud Aggie, have been married since 1995. They live outside Crawford, Texas, where they raise beef cattle and Dorper sheep, enjoy traveling, and spend time outdoors with their dogs. Their daughter Makenzie, a former Division 1 softball player at Tarleton State University, is now pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Hardin Simmons University.

Robin Lankford brings a dynamic blend of expertise, organization, and heart to her role as Operations Manager and Senior Market Consultant at High & Associates. Since joining the firm in 2013, Robin has been a key part of the team, known for wearing many hats and handling them all with care and professionalism. With a strong foundation in faith and family, Robin values trust, service, and relationships.

Robin supports Shelley Dunbar in day-to-day operations while also serving clients directly. Her responsibilities range from individual health insurance and Medicare Supplement plans to group employee benefits sales and service. She is also highly experienced in life insurance sales, helping clients protect what matters most with confidence and clarity.

With over a decade of experience in the insurance and benefits space, Robin is passionate about simplifying complex topics and ensuring clients feel supported every step of the way.

Outside the office, Robin enjoys spending time with her family, especially traveling together and enjoying a good scary movie or book. She and her husband are active members of their church and take great joy in staying involved in the lives of their three grown children. Whether in the workplace or the community, Robin leads with a servant’s heart and a passion for helping others feel supported and seen.
